Egis brings fingerprint sensor line and mobile payment solutions to RSA
Egis Technology is showcasing its newest lineup of fingerprint IC sensors, authentication solutions, mobile payment solutions based on FIDO specifications and PKI as well as its FIDO Certified UAF & U2F products at the RSA conference in San Francisco this week.
Egis describes itself as a “one stop shop for all fingerprint needs and aims to provide simpler, stronger security and authentication for everyone with their total solution”.
The company’s touch and hybrid fingerprint sensors are able to accurately authenticate and verify the identity of the user, with the ability to read fingerprints under various conditions, such as wet and dry fingerprints.
Egis’ fingerprint sensors and modules have been integrated in a range of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, wearable devices, and docking stations.
As a FIDO member, Egis will display its full range of FIDO Certified UAF & U2F products and mobile payment solutions based on FIDO specification (Fingerprint-based UAF Authenticator, Client, Server, iOS SDK; Fingerprint USB U2F Authenticator and SDK).
