Fingerprint Cards and Precise Biometrics technology in new 360 smartphone

Fingerprint Cards (FPC) and Precise Biometrics are providing the fingerprint technology for a newly established Chinese smartphone brand.

360 phones were previously branded “Qiku”. The 360 group owns the Qiku and Dazen brands is now unifying them under the “360” brand instead.

360’s new smartphone model, the F4, features the rear-mounted FPC One Touch fingerprint sensor FPC1035 and Precise BioMatch Mobile software, an algorithm solution for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices by Precise Biometrics.

Jörgen Lantto, CEO of FPC, said: “360 is a leading smartphone manufacturer in China and we are proud that 360 selected FPC1035 for the F4 model. FPC1035 supports the feature FPC OneTouch as well as 360-degree finger rotation capability, fast response time and industry leading 3D image quality.”
