Fingerprint Cards touch sensor FPC1245 featured in the new Vivo X7 and X7 plus

Fingerprint Cards announced last week that the new Vivo X7 and X7 plus smartphones feature Fingerprint Cards’ touch fingerprint sensor FPC1245.

According to the company, FPC estimates its addressable market for fingerprint sensors to reach approximately 600 million units in 2016 and to grow to just over one billion units in 2017. FPC’s addressable market excludes Apple but includes other smartphone manufacturers globally, as well as market segments such as smart cards.
