NEC will be showcasing its cybersecurity and biometrics solutions for law enforcement at the 85th ICPO-INTERPOL General Assembly Exhibition at the Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia this week.

The company’s cybersecurity solution employs a combination of security technology and solutions to keep large-scale ICT environments safe. The Digital Forensic Solution suite helps law enforcement agencies combat cybercrime and gives organizations knowledge for specific forensic areas, including: mobile device forensics; disk forensics; malware forensics, and; memory forensics. The suite also includes a next-generation security solution to counter unknown threats by using progressive heuristic technology and other developments in an analytics-based solution.

NEC is also exhibiting its biometric face and fingerprint matching technology including: NeoFace Watch, face recognition software application for real-time video surveillance, offline video face search and high volume photo face search; NeoFace Reveal, a latent face workstation providing the ability to enhance poor quality latent face images, search against mugshot repositories, and identify potential candidates; NeoFace Smart ID and NeoScan45, a mobile application equipped with multi-biometric capture capability including facial images, fingerprints and voices in addition to descriptive data, and; SmartScan, an advanced multi-modal capture solution.

Just last week NEC globally launched NeoFace Image data mining (NeoFace Idm), specialized software that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to rapidly and accurately search video footage, such as content from CCTV cameras, for specific individuals.
