EyeLock to exhibit iris authentication technology at Intersec Dubai 2017

EyeLock LLC will be exhibiting its suite of iris authentication technology at Intersec Dubai 2017, on January 22-24 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai.

Featuring EyeLock’s proprietary software, security, algorithms and optics, the iris authentication technology delivers secure, reliable and user-friendly capabilities, according to the company.

EyeLock’s technology analyzes more than 240 unique iris characteristics to deliver dual-eye authentication, an unmatched security architecture and anti-spoofing technology.

The company will exhibit the nano NXT, EyeLock Identity Suite (EIS), including integrations with major access control platforms (Lenel OnGuard, AMAG Symmetry, Pacom GMS, and Software House C-Cure 9000), and its portable iris template solution.

The access control system integrations enable a rapid, error-free enrollment process by collecting the cardholder data directly from the database during iris enrollment, which eliminates any possibility of data entry errors and time wasted retyping information.

Once the user is enrolled, data is kept in sync to simplify the administrative process. In addition, the access control system integrations enable intelligent onboard memory management within the iris readers.

Using the individual’s access control permissions, the system determines and distributes iris templates only to doors where they have security clearance, with a maximum onboard storage of 20,000 iris templates.

The company’s solutions cover different applications for a range of vertical markets including enterprise security, healthcare, stadiums, government, customs, higher education and data centers.

EyeLock’s portable iris template solution enables nano NXT users to store templates on a smartcard or mobile device, as well as supports large user populations without the need to manage an iris template database or gain access to the network.

Meanwhile, the portable template for mobile enables users to authenticate while their mobile device remains in a pocket or bag.

As users come within range of the reader, the mobile device automatically sends their template to the reader via Bluetooth to grant them access if their iris is matched.

“We have expanded our presence at Intersec Dubai this year to showcase our enhanced technical capabilities and new product offerings,” said Anthony Antolino, chief marketing and business development officer at EyeLock. “Our goal has been to make iris identity authentication technology cost-effective, easy to implement and widely accessible – and with our expanded features, integrations with access control management platforms, and added distribution partners, we have done just that. We are very excited to see the growing interest and increased adoption of our technology across Europe, Asia and the GCC regions.”

Last month, EyeLock LLC introduced three reference designs architected specifically for high volume OEM integration, addressing the rapidly increasing demand for iris authentication solutions across a wide range of IoT devices and broad applications.
