STANLEY Security to offer EyeLock iris biometric access control solutions to North American customers

EyeLock announced that STANLEY Security, a division of Stanley Black & Decker, will offer EyeLock’s full suite of hardware and software access control solutions to its North American customer base.

According to a company statement, EyeLock’s approach provides maximum flexibility by offering designs that have either on-board or host-based processing and illumination. Its reference designs have working distances of up to 60 cm with a false accept rate of 1 in 1.5 million for single eye authentication and a false reject rate of less than 1%.

Last December, EyeLock revealed that its iris authentication performance for speed and accuracy was certified by Novetta, a leader in advanced analytics technology and independent biometric testing.
