CyberExtruder integrates face recognition engine into Convergence TP VMS platform

CyberExtruder has added Aureus 3Dv facial recognition engine to the Convergence TP VMS Integration Platform, which brings greater value to the companies’ mutual VMS, security and analytics partners.

Aureus 3Dv is now easily plugged into VMS platforms from OnSSI, Vicon Security, Milestone, IPVideo and Mirasys; access control products from Axis, ZKAccess, Isonas, RBH Access, DMP, DSX and Keri Systems; and POS products from IBM, NCR Radiant, Oracle Micros, Agilysys and POSitouch.

CyberExtruder develops facial recognition technology for a wide range of real-world, government and commercial applications worldwide.

Designed for OEM’s, integrators and end-users, CyberExtruder’s proprietary 3D face modeling technology mitigates the challenges of pose, lighting, and expression.

The company’s convolutional neural network improves the ability to train algorithms and deliver continually-increasing performance.

“The integration with CTP is a force multiplier because it affords us direct access to numerous end-users of some of the most tried and true platforms in the monitoring, security and point of sale analytics markets,” said CyberExtruder president and CEO Paul Nicholas. “We’re thrilled with this partnership because it puts us more easily within reach of the users of the top tier VMS, access control and POS platforms.”

Convergence TP’s system is based on the company’s patent pending Event Streaming Engine (ESE), which is optimized to provide a seamless interface for IP appliance TCP/IP text to be streamed directly into the video management system as a camera stream.

“Connecting Aureus 3D facial recognition to the users’ video management system has a competitive market advantage when using C2P’s integration software,” said Charles Hickey, director of operations for C2P. “The C2P Wiegand interface, when used in conjunction with a user’s existing access control system, allows doors to be unlocked based on Aureus 3Dv facial recognition matching. The C2P Alert Manager, running in conjunction with Aureus 3Dv provides immediate pop-up alerts of an individual entering the premises thereby notifying security that a person of interest is on the property.”

Last month, CyberExtruder showcased advanced 3D face recognition software Aureus 3Dv at ASIS International in Dallas, Texas.
