ID R&D has been selected by Microsoft Ventures for the final round of the Innovate AI competition, as one of the top 10 AI companies, the company has announced.

The Microsoft Global Startup competition is intended to highlight the most exciting artificial intelligence-based technology, and help startups with high potential access capital to further the development of AI for solving problems and improving lives.

ID R&D’s continuous authentication solution SafeChat, which combines behavioral, voice, and face biometrics for chatbot and virtual assistant interactions, is an example of the security benefit for enterprises of AI-based biometric capabilities, the company says.

“We are excited to be named as one of the top-10 AI startups by Microsoft in the AI Innovate global competition,” said CEO of ID R& D Alexey Khitrov. “AI-based technologies allow us to offer new and unique biometric capabilities to the market. We look forward to using this platform to introduce the benefits of frictionless biometric authentication and unique anti-spoofing/liveness capabilities.”

ID R&D was recently selected to join the Fintech Batch of the Plug and Play accelerator program.
