EyeLock announced today that it has hired Nick LaBella as its new Vice President of Sales as part of the company’s plan to strategically grow the business in several markets and industry segments. LaBella’s addition will play a large part in building a more structured sales team to capitalize on the growth of biometrics-based access control solutions.

LaBella will initially focus on the access control segment of the business with the upcoming launch of the outdoor nano EXT, part of a suite of solutions for the access control market. He has over 30 years’ experience and knowledge of the biometric and security industry.

“With the launch of nano EXT, the first-of-its-kind outdoor access control device, the access control offering becomes unified and complete. We needed a seasoned veteran to guide this product to market and manage the sales process,” explained Jeff Carter, CEO, EyeLock. “I believe that with Nick’s extensive background he will help the EyeLock team achieve our goals.”

LaBella is expected to be a key contributor in driving new business and growing existing business. His responsibilities will include managing and directing all sales activities including training and leading the sales team. He will also develop and drive marketing and sales campaigns across the Secure Solutions business unit.
