Onfido adds to its senior leadership team

Onfido announced it has hired Chrissy Dal Porto, Amy Wallace and Ruth Penfold to its senior leadership team. The new VP Global Marketing, General Counsel and Director of People bring their extensive expertise to Onfido’s 200-strong team across London, Lisbon, San Francisco, New York, Delhi and Singapore and will deliver strategic support as the identity verification provider expands into further global territories.

Chrissy Dal Porto, VP Global Marketing, has 20 years’ experience in business-to-business marketing including developing global marketing teams. Dal Porto will lead Onfido’s go-to-market strategy as it launches its technology in the United States.

Amy Wallace, General Counsel is an entrepreneurial technology lawyer with over 10 years’ experience working in technology and SaaS. Wallace will lead Onfido’s legal team, driving Onfido’s IP strategy, scaling Onfido’s commercial contracting process, and overseeing corporate and business affairs.

Ruth Penfold, Director of People, has extensive experience in growing international tech teams. Penfold specializes in building diverse and inclusive global teams and will oversee Onfido’s people and culture as it continues to build out its talent pool.

Onfido has received over $60m in funding from investors including M12, Salesforce Ventures and Idinvest Partners and carries out identity checks in 192 countries.
