BehavioSec co-founder to discuss behavioral biometrics at FS-ISAC Fall Summit
At next month’s FS-ISAC Fall Summit in Chicago, BehavioSec co-founder and vp, Olov Renberg, will deliver a presentation entitled “The Front Line of the Fight Against Fraud: Behavioral Biometrics”, in which he will discuss how financial services and technology companies have made measurable improvements in fraud prevention by using behavioral biometrics.
FS-ISAC is an industry forum for collaboration on critical security threats facing the global financial services sector.
Renberg’s session will draw on several use cases, including the Goode Intelligence 2018 survey results and BehavioSec case studies, to show how behavioral biometrics is used to prevent account takeover, stop fraud and create a frictionless digital user experience.
“Presenting at FS-ISAC gives us the opportunity to show the success of behavioral biometrics in dramatically reducing fraud and theft committed by people and malware set on abusing accounts and credentials,” said Renberg. “Biometric authentication can greatly relieve the problems faced with consumer authentication including usability, security and compliance, making it a great benefit to fintech and financial services.”
Renberg founded BehavioSec in 2008, and acted as its initial CEO.
