Aratek reports strong interest in its biometric terminal at Trustech

Aratek reports that its new ‘Marshall’ mobile biometric terminal was a hit at last month’s Trustech event in Cannes.

Marshall is designed to integrate with various FBI-certified fingerprint scanners and supports all scanner sizes. It is capable of reading ePassports and also features a built-in printer to generate paper receipts. The company notes this can be indispensable in many remote applications.

“Marshall takes identity-anywhere to a whole new level,” said Samuel Wu, Aratak’s vp for sales. “Marshall is designed to integrate registration, matching, printing, and other functions into one portable module which can be deployed practically anywhere.”

According to the company website, Marshall is suitable for applications including: national ID; law enforcement; financial inclusion; beneficial programs; voter authentication; SIM card activation, and; mobile time and attendance.

In October Aratek showcased its biometric products and solutions at the 2018 Smart Cards Expo in New Delhi, India.
