Jumio named to Fast Company’s 2019 list of World’s Most Innovative Companies
Jumio announced today that the company has been named to Fast Company’s annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2019. The trusted identity as a service provider is the 29th-ranked company globally and second-ranked in the Security category.
The World’s Most Innovative Companies is Fast Company’s signature franchise and one of its most highly anticipated editorial efforts of the year. It provides both a snapshot and road map for the future of innovation across the most dynamic sectors of the economy. Half of the companies on this year’s list are appearing from the first time.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized as one of the world’s most innovative companies,” said Stephen Stuut, CEO of Jumio. “Innovation is at the core of what we do, and we are constantly evolving our technology to stay ahead of the fraud curve and preserve the digital chain of trust between companies and consumers. We’ve invested heavily in emerging technologies, including augmented intelligence and machine learning, and our recent launch of Jumio Authentication empowers companies to know that their online customers are who they claim to be.”
Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies issue (March-April 2019) is now available online and will be on newsstands beginning February 27.
Earlier this month Jumio launched a combined identity proofing ongoing authentication product for online transactions powered by FaceTec facial biometrics technology. The company also reported that its 2018 customer count grew 60 percent and sales grew 70 percent year-over-year.
