BioCatch and SecuredTouch each bring behavioral biometrics to ForgeRock

ForgeRock has added behavioral biometric technology from BioCatch and SecuredTouch to its network to help companies prevent fraud and account takeovers.

BioCatch’s digital identity solution is now available from the ForgeRock Marketplace, and can be combined with ForgeRock’s Intelligent Authentication technology for easy implementation of passive authentication by ForgeRock clients for an improved access management experience and security against account takeover attacks.

“Behavioral biometrics is entering the mainstream, as it is the only way to answer consumer demands for continuous security, privacy and convenience. As attention turns to implementation and scale, the BioCatch-ForgeRock integration demonstrates how it is not only possible, but easy, for organizations to deploy this technology,” says BioCatch Co-founder and CEO Avi Turgeman. “Just as we aim to enable secure and seamless online experiences for end users, we are also committed to working with partners that make it easy for CISOs to implement our market-leading technology into their environments.”

SecuredTouch has joined the ForgeRock Trust Network Partner Program to offer its continuous authentication, advanced fraud detection, and intelligent analytics technology to ForgeRock’s banking and e-commerce customers. The combined solution enables easy integration of behavioral biometrics into authentication and risk assessment processes for detection of even sophisticated fraud attacks, such as with remote access Trojans or emulators, while providing a frictionless user experience, SecuredTouch says.

“With the increasing sophistication of attacks targeting the take over of end-user accounts, customers need new approaches to defend themselves,” comments Ben Goodman, SVP of corporate and business development at ForgeRock. “Behavioral biometrics is a sophisticated, new weapon in the war against ‘fraudsters’. When you combine this type of technology with the ForgeRock Identity Platform you can achieve a balance of security and usability which once seemed impossible.”

SecuredTouch closed an investment and partnership agreement with Arvato Financial Solutions earlier this month.

ForgeRock recently updated its Intelligent Authentication framework to support zero trust and other security strategies requiring continuous authentication.
