Goode Intelligence announced that Biometric Summit London 2019 will take place on Wednesday November 20, 2019 and will be held in partnership with Rise London and Barclays Innovation. Rise New York and Barclays were partners in the Biometric Summit New York 2019 which took place earlier this month.

The event, held in partnership with Rise London and Barclays Innovation, is expected to bring together leading biometric technology providers with investors, buyers and technology integrators who have a strong interest in the latest innovation in biometric technology for a full-day summit featuring keynotes, presentations, industry-led moderated panels and networking.

“Following the terrific success of Biometric Summit New York earlier this month, we’re delighted to be working again with the team from Rise and Barclays Innovation along with our sponsors to create Biometric Summit London 2019,” says Alan Goode, CEO and Chief Analyst at Goode Intelligence. “In addition to showcasing the latest innovation in biometric technology, this summit will focus on key themes that are challenging and providing opportunity for the industry today such as its use in digital identity including electronic identity verification, the adoption of biometrics for financial services including mobile and biometric payment cards and how biometrics is transforming retail and travel.”

According to recent forecasts from Goode Intelligence, mobile biometric payments will total more than $1.67 trillion annually by 2023, generating more than $8.7 billion in revenue for mobile biometric technology suppliers.
