Biometric facial recognition capabilities of fielddrive events software expanded

Global event technology company fielddrive has introduced a new suite of services for on-site attendee management featuring biometric facial recognition for event check-in, Event Industry News reports.

Facial recognition has been integrated into fielddrive services since 2017, which makes it the first in the its field to do so, according to the report. The new suite combines the secure and expedited check-in procedures the company has developed with live badge printing capabilities to check-in up to 250 delegates an hour without pre-printed badges. The company also offers mobile app solutions and offline data scanners for session scanning and lead retrieval.

Event attendees can register their biometrics online or prior to the event by uploading a photo or taking a selfie, simplifying the confirmation and registration process. The company also provides analytics cameras, leveraging facial recognition to provide data about how attendees react to certain elements of the event.

Fielddrive was honored, along with Zenus, which will be providing facial recognition for the GO WEST 2020 event in Edmonton, Alberta, as an overall winner of the IBTM World Tech Watch Award late last year.
