Idemia NSS partners with B&A to deliver biometrics to U.S. federal agencies in criminal justice system

Multi-modal biometrics from Idemia National Security Solutions will be integrated with identity management and authentication service offerings for the U.S. federal criminal justice system from IT systems integrator B&A under a new partnership.

B&A has more than 30 years of experience in innovation and application development, with a focus on Federal law enforcement, and plans to leverage Idemia NSS’ identity platform to help federal customers modernize their mission-critical systems, according to the announcement. Idemia refers to its NIST testing results for speed, accuracy and reliability, calling its identity solutions “best-in-class.”

“The introduction of NSS’s trusted multi-modal biometric systems will increase ease and maintain security for our valued customers. We are excited to see this partnership will grow,” states Jonathan Evans, president and CEO of B&A.

The partners plan to help customers reduce operational and maintenance costs, while increasing agility for essential systems.

“We are proud to partner with B&A to provide the federal government with an integrated solution that increases efficiency, saves time, and ultimately improves security,” says Scott Swann, CEO of NSS. “This partnership is a win-win for all of us, including the U.S. federal criminal justice system.”
