Innovatrics integrates biometric facial recognition with VMS partner

Innovatrics has finalized the initial SmartFace integration phase with NetworkOptix Witness which equips the video management system (VMS) with biometric facial recognition in real-time videos, the company announced.

When it detects an unknown face, the software adds it to the watchlist. To get started, valid licenses are required for SmartFace and Nx Witness. Then users can download and install the integration to get the system ready. SmartFace detects event and Nx Witness processes them according to user requirements. For access to the integration, users can search for it in the NetworkOptix partner page when logged in.

“The users of NetworkOptix Witness system can now enjoy the capabilities of SmartFace from within the environment they are used to. Furthermore, their system can identify people that are on watchlists, allowing authorized users to manage them easily,” said Michal Vilagi, Head of the Integration Team at Innovatrics, in a prepared statement.

On the other side of its business, Innovatrics added Cyrillic alphabet support for its optical character recognition (OCR) feature in its digital onboarding toolkit in May.
