TruNarrative to provide biometrics and customer screening technology for gaming operator onboarding

TruNarrative will enhance the onboarding of online gambling operator Argyll Entertainment with biometrics, behavior monitoring, and document verification for safe and fast regulatory compliance, according to a company announcement.

Under the new partnership, the TruNarrative API will provide digital know your customer (KYC), know your business (KYB), and anti money-laundering (AML) checks, AML reporting, fraud detection, and credit and affordability checking as part of a full customer management capability. TruNarrative’s platform uses artificial intelligence for orchestration and decision science, and integrates data from more than 50 third-party sources to gain insight into all decisions and transactions globally.

Argyll Entertainment operates its flagship SportNation betting site for customers primarily in the UK and Ireland, and the company was acquired in 2016 by Esports Entertainment Group. With UKGC issuing guidelines for protecting gamers, Argyll Entertainment says it sought a solution to build robust affordability screening into its responsible gaming strategy. The TruNarrative solution enables the gaming operator to monitor player transactions and behavior in real-time, and carry out automated affordability assessments.

In addition to the seamless and automated onboarding and monitoring functions, TruNarrative’s API enables the operator to make changes in-house to comply with future regulatory changes of guidance. TruNarrative also gives Argyll Entertainment manual review options and a full audit trail. TruNarrative can also provide AccountScore’s Open Banking data to facilitate low-friction customer journeys and improve visibility and operational cost efficiency for organizations.
