Biometrics innovations win ID R&D top strategic potential rating, ForgeRock earns data security certification
The voice biometrics, voice anti-spoofing technology and passive facial liveness detection of ID R&D make it the Core Technology Provider with the highest strategic potential, according to Opus Research’s Intelligent Authentication and Fraud Prevention Intelliview 2020.
The report also recognizes ID R&D as a Challenger with strong product completeness and flexibility, according to the announcement. Capabilities of ID R&D technology the company says are either industry firsts or best-in-class include its passive biometric facial liveness detection for zero-effort anti-spoofing, an AI-based voice SDK under 1MB in size, making it appropriate for edge implementations, and five-layered continuous biometric authentication solution SafeChat for securing chatbots and messenger apps. The company also showed impressive results at the 2019 Automatic Speaker Verification Spoofing and Countermeasures (ASVspoof) Challenge for logical access.
“We are proud to be recognized by Opus Research for delivering cutting-edge voice and face biometric and liveness detection products,” says ID R&D President Alexey Khitrov. “We attribute our rapid growth with diverse customers and use cases to our focus on achieving breakthroughs in core technology that results in stronger security across a growing number of digital channels and an effortless, ‘friend-like’ user experience.”
ForgeRock achieves ISO/IEC 27001 for protecting digital ID data
ForgeRock has been certified for compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001 standard for data security and privacy by the British Assessment Bureau.
The ISO 27001 standard requires organizations to establish, implement, maintain and improve an information security management system (ISMS). It is an internationally-recognized standard based on a model of “Plan-Do-Check-Act.”
“At ForgeRock, we recognize the most prevalent cybersecurity challenges for organizations stem from identity,” comments Russ Kirby, chief information security officer, ForgeRock. “Achieving full ISO 27001 certification underscores our commitment to delivering superior digital identity solutions to our customers and providing sufficient protection to ensure their data is secure.”
The company says it met the ISO 27001 requirements due to the continued development and operation of the ForgeRock Identity Cloud and ForgeRock Identity Platform products and services both in the cloud and on-premises, and its 24/7 global support.
