Digital identity firm Hitachi ID has unveiled a new identity and access platform with biometrics management capabilities, Bravura Security Fabric.

The announcement was made during Hitachi ID’s Power of One Digital Identity & Access Virtual Summit, together with an update to the company’s privileged access management solution.

The Bravura Security Fabric suite is a tool designed to cover all aspects of identity and access security.

It includes a variety of products from Hitachi ID, including Identity, Privilege, Pass, and Group, together with Bravura Discover, Hitachi’s ID threat detection software. Hitachi ID Bravura Pass enables biometrics management to improve login security practices across systems and applications.

The software behind the new suite’s individual solutions has also been updated to Version 12.0. The update features integration with intelligent bots for better self-service and enhanced configurability via grouping constructs that can manage thousands to millions of identities with robust policy and rule verifications, according to the company announcement.

“Our Hitachi ID Bravura Security Fabric lets organizations frame and optimize their cybersecurity programs with one singular platform across identity, group, password, privilege access,” commented Kevin Nix, CEO of Hitachi ID.

The program uses machine learning capabilities to automate most processes and can defend against a variety of cyberattacks in a completely autonomous way.

“Organizations can weave the identity and access services in various patterns to protect, manage and govern their digital identity and access infrastructure from attacks with the scalability, flexibility, and integration they need as their roadmaps evolve,” Nix added.

Hitachi ID Bravura Security Fabric is available on Linux and Windows, as well as on other platforms not yet specified by Hitachi ID.
