International biometrics and digital ID demand prompts office openings, rebranding
 

Invixium has launched a new Middle East and North Africa headquarters in Dubai to serve growing interest in its touchless biometric solutions and temperature-based workforce management in the region, including Turkey and Pakistan, according to a company announcement.

The new office is located in Dubai Internet City, along with offices for many other tech companies.

The company has hired Wisam Yaghmour to be its Senior Director of Sales, MENA. Yaghmour most recently served HID Global in the region as sales lead and overseeing operations.

Thales opens corporate office in Northern India

Thales has opened an office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with plans to play a role in the developing defence and industrial corridor of the Indian state, The Times of India reports.

In addition to defence contracts, Thales is expected to continue working with Indian companies on digital identity technologies, according to the report.

Dahua rebranding US camera lines

Dahua is rebranding its analytics products under the name WizSense and WizMind, which will be sold under the Dahua Analytics+ umbrella.

WizSense provides ‘Simplified Analytics for Accurate Results, while WizMind is the advanced solution. The former consists of bullet, dome, wedge and eyeball cameras from the Dahua Lite series, PTZs from its Pro series, and lower-cost thermal cameras. The latter includes other Pro series and specialized cameras.

The change will be reflected throughout the company’s website, and according to the announcement is intended to help security dealers and integrators more easily determine which solution is appropriate to their use case.
