LumenVox, announced a voice biometrics and speech recognition partnership with Austrian dispatch company fms/Austrosoft.

The collaboration will focus on the integration of voice biometrics solutions into a Callbot for networked and digital telephone ordering.

fms/Austrosoft is a company with a long-standing history in elaborate dispatch systems for taxis and car rentals in Europe.

The partnership with LumenVox will now see the business expand its technological reach to offer customers a Callbot featuring integrated voice solutions from LumenVox.

These will cover the entire customer experience process, from initial booking by the user, to the dispatching by the taxi center and the final order processing by the driver.

From a technical standpoint, the fms Callbot will integrate automatic speech recognition capabilities, as well as active and passive voice biometrics for remote authentication.

A fraud detection feature will also be implemented within fms Callbot to prevent access to the service if the voice authentication process fails.

Finally, LumenVox will also provide the new Callbot with Call Progress Analysis (CPA) capabilities, to enable proactive outbound calling and improving recognition between an answering machine and a live human.

The partnership with fms is the latest step in LumenVox’s expansion efforts after the company joined forces with OneVault in March to introduce advanced voice biometrics to the African market. LumenVox was also nominated as the top biometrics vendor by Speech Technology Magazine last May.
