Iris ID wins ASTORs award from American Security Today

Iris ID has been named a platinum-level winner in the American Security Today’s annual ASTOR awards program for its contactless biometric technology.

The company received the ‘Best Facial/Iris Recognition’ award for its IrisTime customizable platform featuring dual iris and face recognition capabilities.

The ASTORS awards program recognizes government and vendor solutions delivering enhanced value, benefit, and intelligence to end-users in a variety of markets.

“This 2020 ASTORS award validates Iris ID’s strategic vision for innovation with products such as IrisTime,” said Mohammed Murad, vice president of global sales and business development for Iris ID. “We are revolutionizing the time and attendance function with a biometric platform that meets many of the unprecedented challenges facing public and private employers today,” Murad added.

“That includes providing a touchless identity solution as we rebuild our workforce during and after the pandemic. IrisTime is the time clock for the modern workforce.”

Socure wins fintech award from WatersTechnology

Socure announced last Friday it has received an award at this year’s American Financial Technology Awards (AFTAs) for its DocV and Intelligent KYC identity verification products.

In particular, Socure won the ‘Best New Technology Introduced over the Last 12 months – Data and Data Services’ award.

The company expanded its ID+ platform in October with the inclusion of DocV, an omnichannel biometrics and document verification solution.

The award comes after Socure placed 70th on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list last month.

Veriff nominated by DIGITALEUROPE to Future Unicorn Award

Veriff has been nominated by DIGITALEUROPE as part of the Future Unicorn Award for the Ipromise of its behavioral biometrics solutions.

The event showcases Europe’s most promising scale-ups and now counts Veriff among its 20 finalists.

“It shows that what we do is considered to be necessary,” said Kaarel Kotkas, Veriff co-founder and CEO. “Veriff makes different services accessible via the internet that used to require a face-to-face meeting. With our technology, we build trust that allows any website and mobile application to match the person with a government-issued ID.”

The company uses a combination of artificial intelligence and behavioral biometrics to verify the identity of people from more than 190 countries.

The Future Unicorn Award winner will be announced at the Masters of Digital event organized by DIGITALEUROPE and taking place on 4 February 2021.

Veratad Technologies recognized in the 2021 RegTech100

Identity verification provider Veratad Technologies is included on the 2021 RegTech 100, which recognizes the world’s most innovative fintech solutions.

Veratad specializes in the creation of biometric and multi-factor authentication solutions for global identity and age verification.

“We are thrilled to have been selected for inclusion in the 2021 RegTech100 and it’s an honor to be recognized as one of the world’s most innovative companies by the Advisory Board and Analyst Team at RegTech,” said Veratad CEO John E. Ahrens.

“Financial Services and Fintechs are an important part of our focus and we are committed to providing those customers with a suite of leading-edge services to meet their fraud prevention and compliance challenges,” he added. “We look forward to new opportunities to serve the industry that may come as a result of both the award and our ever-expanding portfolio of services.”

Elenium Automation receives Frost & Sullivan award

Elenium Automation has received the Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Technology Innovation Leadership Award for its airport safety technology.

The announcement was made at the FTE Virtual Expo event, at which Elenium was awarded for a touchless vital sign detection solution that the company has developed to reduce contact in airports in wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The best practice award addresses three key strategic areas impacting the airline and airport industry: geopolitical chaos, disruptive technologies, and internal challenges.

According to Frost & Sullivan, Elenium won the award because it performed consistently across these three areas.

“The robust touchless technology behind Elenium’s systems became and remains a prominent innovation in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic,” explained Steven Lopez, Best Practices Research Analyst at Frost & Sullivan. “Elenium listened to the feedback from airports regarding the virus and immediately focused on providing solutions that would help stop the spread in airports and identify persons who could potentially show flu-like temperatures.”

Ping Identity receives multiple awards

Ping Identity has revealed this week the company has received a series of awards.

Specifically, the firm’s PingOne for Customers solution was named Best in Enterprise APIs by the API World Awards.

It was also awarded Best Identity and Access Management Platform by the Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards as well as The IT World Awards.

Finally, Ping was also recognized by the Future Security Awards as the Best Security IAM Integration Software.

“Our cloud solutions give enterprises the flexibility to thrive in any environment and continuously evolve to respond to the modern security landscape,” commented Ping Identity CEO Andre Durand. “These awards underscore our commitment to giving our customers the best identity solutions during a time when security and user experience have never been more important.”
