Intercede signs partnership deal with Russian security systems company KABEST

Intercede has signed a partnership agreement with KABEST, a dedicated security division within Asteros Group focused on implementations for the government and private sector, during the United Kingdom Trade and Investment’s (UKTI) trade mission to Moscow.

Under the partnership, KABEST will resell Intercede’s MyID solution in Russia as a part of its high-end IT and security systems proposition for the Government and public sector, extending Intercede’s global reach. MyID is an identity security solution geared towards government agencies and enterprises to create secure identity management systems using devices like smart cards, phones and tablets.

Intercede signed the agreement with KASBEST at the UKTI and Confederation of British Industry (CBI) mid-sized business trade mission to Russia – an initiative aimed at helping UK-based companies make contacts and obtain market intelligence to facilitate business growth in Russia.

“KABEST’s business is a good strategic fit for Intercede as we continue to expand our footprint across the globe,” Richard Parris, CEO of Intercede said. “This year, KABEST has delivered a number of complex projects […] mirroring our sector expertise working with government and public sector organizations. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with them.”

Intercede has been making a lot of news lately, as previously reported in BiometricUpdate.com with a recent launch of its MyID CardChecker App for Apple iOS and also a partnership with U.S.-based NitroDesk for smart card-secured email on compatible iOS devices.
