Fulcrum Biometrics has been named the winner for the Best Biometric Identification Solution at the Homeland Security Awards.

Now in its fourth year, the Government Security News recognizes individuals, groups, private companies and government agencies for excellence and civic-minded spirit with their homeland security efforts with the Homeland Security Awards.

Selected by a panel of judges, Fulcrum Biometrics won the award for Best Biometric Identification Solution at the awards for its FbF mobileOne portable biometric fingerprint scanning accessory for iOS devices.

The FBI has certified that the FbF MobileOne meets specification listed in the EBTS Appendix F Mobile ID FAP 10 using Personal Identity Verification (PIV), Single Finger Capture Device Specifications of the FBI’s Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS) Image Quality Specifications.

As reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, Fulcrum Biometrics was recently named as one of the fastest growing, privately-owned companies in Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list.
