Accurate Biometrics lands Illinois fingerprinting services contract

Accurate Biometrics announced on Thursday that it has been awarded the Master Fingerprinting Services Contract for Illinois for the fourth consecutive time.

The contract is for a three year team, with two-one year renewal options, and will include services to the Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Human Services, and Department of Natural Resources.

“We feel our service is the key component in protecting our most vulnerable populations—children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities”, Peggy Critchfield, president, Accurate Biometrics said.

Chicago-based Accurate Biometrics provides its electronic fingerprint capture and transmission services to state and federal government agencies, and private businesses, mostly in the financial sector. It also provides fingerprint transmission directly to the FBI in support of Authorized Recipients.

“We are very excited about this award from Illinois. It is a testimony for the service we have provided to the state during the previous contract period, and will solidify the required footprint in Illinois as new legislation is installed requiring fingerprint services,” Critchfield said.

As previously reported in BiometricUpdate.com, Accurate Biometrics was also awarded the Chicago Public Schools fingerprinting services contract last year.
