Human Recognition Systems, Shepherd Construction sign agreement for biometric workforce management

Shepherd Construction has signed a framework agreement with Human Recognition Systems to implement the company’s MSite biometric workforce management system across its future UK sites.

Specifically, the system being deployed – MSite Corporate – identifies workers using biometric data and encompasses site access security, health and safety reporting and compliance.

“We’re pleased to have worked in partnership with Shepherd Construction to prove the solution works for them and look forward to working on new developments and opportunities to support their growth asiprations,” Simon Meyer, Operations Director at HRS said.

“Firms are moving towards solutions that offer true site management rather than simply access control as the construction industry’s demands continue to evolve,” Meyer said. “Human Recognition Systems’ MSite Corporate solution has been specifically designed to deliver this by allowing managers to access important information automatically and in real-time to help better manage sites without the overhead or manual input.”

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, HRS recently announced that Neil Norman, the company’s founder, had been re-appointed as CEO.

“Our primary objective was to enhance our operations and ensure that we could more efficiently control all movements on and off site and accurately record the information in such a way that would allow us to proactively monitor and review the data captured to enhance our overall SHE performance,” Darren Shattock, SHE Director at Shepherd Construction said. “HRS MSite had a number of key differentiators that made it the preferred choice for Shepherd Construction.”
