EyeVerify CEO to present at Alibaba’s 2015 Hangzhou YunQi Conference

EyeVerify announced that CEO and founder Toby Rush will present at Alibaba Group’s upcoming 2015 Hangzhou YunQi Conference in Hangzhou, China

This year’s conference, which will assume the theme of Internet + Innovation Entrepreneurship, will be held at the YunQi Town (Cloud Town) International Convention Centre from October 14-15.

Rush will present “Know you from the Eyes: Eyeprint recognition technology detailed introduction” during the Biometrics Sub-Forum breakout session held on October 15 at 3:00 pm.

The breakout session will cover advanced research and development in biometrics and applied biometrics cases in payments.

“I appreciate the speaking invitation and our ongoing collaboration with Alipay. I’m looking forward to sharing my thoughts on the crucial role that eye-based biometrics will play in the development of mobile payments and all aspects of secure mobility,” said Rush. “One topic I plan to cover is the path toward development of a transparent, industry-consensus process for defining the technical and business criteria for Payment Grade biometrics.”

Previously reported, EyeVerify announced that three independent organizations have conducted extensive accuracy testing on its Eyeprint ID, in which the biometrics solution performed at accuracy levels that meet the market need for secure mobile authentication for password replacement, medical prescriptions and mobile payments.
