FPC integrates touch fingerprint sensor in new ivvi K2 Android smartphone

 

Fingerprint Cards (FPC) has integrated its touch fingerprint sensor FPC1025 into ivvi K2, the new Android smartphone from Yulong and LeTV.

The comes on the heels of FPC itegrating its touch fingerprint sensors in three new QiKu smartphones as well as Huawei’s new Honor 7i smartphone.

Sales stemming from FPC1025 for integration in the ivvi K2 smartphone are already included in FPC’s previously reported revenue guidance of approximately 2,500 MSEK (USD $268.2 million) for 2015.

“ivvi is a prominent smartphone manufacturer in China and we are proud that ivvi selected FPC1025 for K2, its first smartphones integrating a touch fingerprint sensor,” said FPC CEO Jörgen Lantto. “FPC1025 supports 360 degree finger rotation capability, fast response time and industry leading 3D image quality“.

Previously reported, Fingerprint Cards (FPC) released its new FPC OneTouch series, the company’s first set of touch fingerprint sensors that can be mounted under a sheet of glass or ceramics.
