BI2 to distribute Grabba products in the US, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean

Grabba International Pty Ltd (Grabba), a mobile data collection technology provider, and Biometric Intelligence & Identification Technologies (BI2 Technologies) have announced that BI2 Technologies’ wholly-owned subsidiary, BI2 Grabba America, LLC (BI2GA) has been appointed by Grabba, Inc., as the master distributor for Grabba products in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

“This step forward in our previously developed partnership is an industry game-changer,” said Sean G. Mullin, President and CEO of BI2 Technologies, adding, “The Cloud-based mobile biometrics market is expanding rapidly with more than $12B expected to be spent on deployments by 2020. BI2 and Grabba are uniquely positioned to capture a substantial share of this market.”

Frank Downes, President and CEO of Grabba International, noted, “Grabba’s ability to make technologies mobile, and platform agnostic, is without peer globally. Combining Grabba’s and BI2’s products, reputation, coverage and global reach, including BI2’s significant presence in the United States and in Mexico, will enable Grabba to rapidly increase its commercial and government market share through horizontal solutions that cost-effectively solve our customers’ most critical problems.

“Grabba Inc, operations in North America will now focus upon growing brand awareness, brand management, maintaining an appropriate profile with mobile device manufacturers and with key suppliers,” he continued. “As the ‘Importer of Record’ for Grabba products, Grabba, Inc. will continue to be the responsible entity in all matters of product warranty and back-to-base repairs. This is important to our end users in North America, and to our many international channel partners that sell Grabba products bundled with their application solutions to their clients in the Territory. They rely upon us to provide our unique services globally.”

“This expanded relationship is truly a perfect match,” said Laurie Pane, Senior VP at Grabba, Inc. “Grabba’s mobile technologies, matched with the BI2 software, create solutions that can be used by any public or private organization where it is critical to capture biometric and/or biographic data from tokens of identity and, in seconds, verify the identity of the individual connected to the token.”

Last summer, BI2 Technologies and Grabba announced that they signed a joint licensing and marketing agreement to develop and offer mobile biometric identification, data capture and verification devices.
