FST Biometrics and AMAG collaborate on in-motion access control solution

AMAG Technology has certified version 3.6 of FST Biometrics‘ IMID as fully integrated with AMAG’s Symmetry access control solution, giving Symmetry users the combined benefits of AMAG’s security with the visual identification solution offered by FST.

AMAG’s Symmetry architecture has been tested and approved for federal government compliance by Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM), HSPD-12 and FIPS-201 regulations.

“FST Biometrics sees a high degree of consistency between our market-leading visual identification solutions and AMAG’s security management solutions,” said Arie Melamed, chief marketing officer of FST Biometrics. “Integrating our IMID in-motion visual identification technology into Symmetry means AMAG solution customers can now manage their facility access at the speed of life.”

The IMID product line offers access control through FST’s proprietary In Motion Identification technology which integrates a fusion of biometric and analytic technologies that includes facial recognition, body behavior analytics and voice verification.

“The integration between our Symmetry Access Control software and FST’s IMID will deliver a leading technology-driven solution our customers will find attractive, accurate and seamless to use,” said Dave Ella, VP of products and partner programs at AMAG Technology. “We are looking forward to a long, successful partnership.”

Earlier this month, FST Biometrics announced the successful deployment of its In Motion Identification (IMID) access control solution at the Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, California.
