EAB launching Swedish Biometrics Forum

Halmstad University, in cooperation with European Organization for Biometrics (EAB), is hosting the kick-off meeting of the Swedish Biometrics Forum on Friday, January 26, 2018.

The purpose of the forum is to bring together researchers, companies, agencies and other stakeholders for a one-day meeting in Halmstad to discuss new ideas and challenges, and where invited speakers talk about their research or activities in the area.

The agenda includes presentations by: Prof. Christoph Busch on Biometrics and Presentation Attack Detection; Diane Friberg on Self-service biometric enrolment and biometric authentication, experience in Nederlands and UK with Idemia Secure Identity; Lena Klasén on Swedish National Forensic Centre activities; Mattias Wecksten and Olga Torstensson on IT-Forensics Education at Halmstad University; Patrick Bours on Chatroom Security, person behaviour from keystroke dynamics, soft biometrics and semantics, and; Eric Setterberg on Fingerprint Cards AB activities in biometrics.

Last month, EAB held its popular Biometrics in Banking and Payments seminar at the ABN AMRO headquarters in Amsterdam.
