Trust Stamp acknowledged at Plug and Play Fintech Expo

Trust Stamp was honored at this year’s Plug and Play Fintech Expo with the audience of financial institutions selecting Trust Stamp for the People’s Choice Award.

Trust Stamp uses proprietary facial biometrics AI with liveness detection matched to government-issued photo-ID and social media data mining to provide cross-platform authentication and trust scores for blockchain, cloud, and server-based applications.

The Plug and Play Fintech program was launched in 2015 and runs twice a year for 12-weeks. It has accelerated more than 200 fintech startups and invested in more than 50. The purpose of the expo is to connect early-stage startups to the world’s leading financial institutions.

Trust Stamp was one of only 25 finTech startups selected for the spring 2018 program out of over 1,000 that applied.

“It’s been a huge honor,” said Andrew Gowasack, co-founder and CEO of Trust Stamp. “I’ve built two years’ worth of relationships in three months. It’s been fantastic and I am proud that as an Atlanta company we received this industry recognition at one of the West Coast’s most renowned accelerator programs.”

The company plans to maintain a permanent “West Coast office” housed in Plug and Play’s Sunnyvale facility.

Last month Trust Stamp was selected to participate in Next Gen Park at TRANSACT.
