2019 Payments Summit dates and venue announced

The Secure Technology Alliance announced the 2019 Payments Summit will be held March 11-14 at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix in Arizona.

2019 will be the second time that the U.S. Payments Forum will jointly hold its Member Meeting at the Payments Summit. The meeting brings in more than 350 members representing global payment networks, financial institutions, merchants, processors, acquirers, domestic payment networks, industry suppliers and industry associations.

The three-day event will include educational sessions, networking opportunities and industry council and working committee discussions on topics impacting the payments market today and in the future. More than 100 speakers will examine developments in payments with sessions on EMV chip technology, e-commerce and remote authentication, mobile wallets, contactless payments, open transit payment systems, IoT payments and financial services powered by the blockchain.

“The Payments Summit has been regarded as a can’t-miss event for more than 10 years because it provides a unique environment where stakeholders across the entire payments ecosystem convene to analyze all of the latest industry trends,” explains Randy Vanderhoof, executive director of the Secure Technology Alliance. “This year’s conjoined event will bring in the most comprehensive gathering of payments professionals and will bring a sharper focus to the future of payments.”

The Secure Technology Alliance will be accepting speaking submissions for this event through December 1, 2018.

Last month’s meeting of the U.S. Payments Forum focused on authentication and contactless payments.
