DeepCam AI solution for retail loss prevention available as a subscription service

The DeepCam AI platform is now available as a subscription service. DeepCam is a plug-and-play system for retail loss prevention and operational cost reduction that uses a proprietary biometric-enhanced recommendation engine that identifies shoplifting and other suspicious behaviors.

“Our subscription service eliminates the hurdles to implementing AI for security,” explains Don Knasel, DeepCam founder and CEO. “We’ve solved the issues around cost, installation and ever-changing technology. Now retailers can prevent shoplifting, save money and feel confident that they will always have a world-class system.”

According to the announcement, DeepCam’s system captures faces in various scenarios including small or distant faces, side faces, variable lighting or complex backgrounds. DeepCam analyzes subjects in real-time and provides immediate alerts.

DeepCam came out of stealth mode in April. Its subscription service costs $99 per month, or $999 per year. Subscription pricing includes hardware and any hardware upgrades.
