Telpo honored at the 2018 Global Congress on Biometrics Identification

 

Telpo (Telepower Communication Co. Ltd.) announced it won the “Innovative Product Award” for its intelligent face recognition terminal earlier this month at the 2018 Global Congress on Biometrics Identification in Shenzhen, China and was named Chair of the Mobile Payment Sub-Committee of China Biometrics Technology Innovation Industry Alliance.

According to the announcement, the 2018 Global Congress on Biometrics Identification brought together more than 800 biometrics industry representatives and experts from more than 30 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, Britain, Japan, Russia and India. The theme of the conference was ‘Intelligent Times’ and focused on exploring new opportunities and challenges.

The conference was jointly sponsored by China Security and Protection Products Industry Association, National Security Standards Committee Human Biometric Identification Application Subcommittee, Institute of Automation of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the China Biometrics Technology Innovation Industry Alliance.

This past summer Telpo biometric terminals secured China’s national college entrance exams.
