FaceTec announced today that senior business development executive Richard Lobovsky has been appointed Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Lobovsky brings more than 25 years of experience in customer and channel partner development, portfolio analysis, business process re-engineering and implementing organizational change. According to a company statement, he has driven product and services revenue growth in several key roles at Samsung SDSA, Verizon Enterprise Solutions and Qualcomm.

“We’re tremendously excited to have Rich joining us coming off of what has been an unprecedented year of technical achievements and user growth for FaceTec,” said Kevin Alan Tussy, CEO of FaceTec. “A few months back, Steve Cook came aboard giving us a strong presence in the UK and Europe, and now we are adding Rich to give us a strong presence on the east coast of the United States.

“We’re in the right place at the right time with the right technology, and now we’re building our business development team to match to our incredible dev team,” added Tussy. “For us, next year is about speeding up deployments and assembling the best possible team to take ZoOm to the tens-of-thousands of organizations that need real biometric security. As we dive into 2019, Rich’s experience and knowledge of the biometrics industry will be key to our continued, rapid growth.”

FaceTec launched its ZoOm 3D Face Login authentication platform just over a year ago and the market has responded with consistent user growth from new deployments and a dozen new channel partners, Cook told Biometric Update in a recent interview. ZoOm also recently passed tests by iBeta for Level 1 anti-spoofing capabilities in a rigorous ISO 30107-3 Presentation Attack Detection certification process.
