Telpo reports strong interest in its biometric retail tech at NRF2019

 

Retail smart device provider Telpo reports that its smart POS terminals and biometrics-based payment solutions were a hit at NRF 2019 last week in New York City.

Billed as the the world’s largest retail conference and expo, NRF is a platform for retailers to discover ideas and technologies that help them develop better strategies and deliver a more personalized brand experience. The 2019 show took place at the Javits Exhibition Center and saw 38,000 attendees, 16,000 retailers and 800 exhibitors from 99 countries.

Telpo unveiled a number of retail POS terminals and biometric financial payment solutions at the show including the Telpo TPS900 mobile android handheld POS terminal, the Telpo TPS680 retail AI cash register and the Telpo TPS980 face recognition machine.

Telpo recently ordered fingerprint sensor modules from NEXT Biometrics to be integrated into POS devices for the India market.
