AIB Bahrain joins Eazy Financial Services biometric payment network

Al Baraka Islamic Bank (AIB Bahrain) has signed a partnership agreement with Eazy Financial Services for the provision of biometric payment services enabling Eazy customers to conduct all their banking transactions and purchases at AIB ATMs and POS terminals across Bahrain.

AIB Bahrain’s clientele will also have access to the eazyNet biometric payment network allowing them to make payments where eazyNet is accepted, using their fingerprints as their debit or credit card.

“Our partnership with such a futuristic-minded organization is in line with the ongoing implementation of our progressive fintech strategy that will not only minimize the need for physical banking, but it will also greatly expedite our digital banking processes as well,” explains Hamad Al Oqab, CEO of Al Baraka Islamic Bank-Bahrain. “This in turn serves to illustrate our constant pursuit of the latest in innovation and streamlined initiatives as we seek to provide the best and most customer-centric products and services for our clientele.”

Payment gateway channel SADAD joined Eazy Financial Services biometric payment network earlier this month.
