Jumio was named a winner of the 2019 Fortress Cyber Security Award in the Authentication and Identity category for its market-leading authentication technology and AI innovation. The annual awards program presented by Business Intelligence Group recognizes companies on the front lines of cybersecurity.

“Winning the Fortress Cyber Security Award is a great honor as it recognizes the time, energy and passion we’ve invested across the company to make the internet a safer place by working to eradicate fraud,” says Robert Prigge, president of Jumio. “Sadly, companies can no longer trust that people are who they say they are online, and that’s why modern companies need a reliable means of identity proofing and authenticating their users.”

Last month Jumio picked up a couple of Stevie Awards at the 17th annual American Business Awards and earlier this year the AI-powered trusted identity as a service provider was named to Fast Company’s annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2019.

Jumio and Nok Nok Labs recently partnered to offer a fully integrated joint biometric account recovery solution.
