Ipsidy rolls out rapid implementation option for biometric identity solutions

Ipsidy announced today the availability of its Identity Portal, a web-browser interface for enterprises with a rapid implementation option for biometric identity solutions.

The new Identity Portal is a secure web-based service offering flexible configuration options that enable customers to set up custom transactions, customer groups, preferred authentication types, and more, eliminating the need for complicated and costly implementation.

The portal offers full-featured versions of Proof, a mobile identity proofing service that includes facial biometric matching against government-issued credentials and Verified, which allows businesses to obtain biometric authentication from customers and employees for all types of financial or business transactions via a selfie.

Additional Verified trust workflows featured in the portal include facial biometrics-based protection from fraudulent phone scams, identity verification of in-home service employees or repair technicians and access control and authentication for a variety of internal business processes.

Last month Ipsidy announced that it had raised $3.1M in preparation for a listing on a national stock exchange. Ipsidy rebranded from ID Global Solutions Corporation in February, 2018, jumped from the OTCQB Venture Market to the OTCQX Best Market last May, and has since seen steady growth in revenue from its cloud biometrics services platform. The company also released a time and attendance app last month.
