Next Biometrics‘ STQC and UIDAI-certified fingerprint sensor technology will be deployed in TROIKA Transsolutions point of sale terminals for Aadhaar Enabled Payment System applications. TROIKA is a full-service digital transaction provider.

Wiseasy and Basewin are also integrating Next Biometrics technology into POS terminals for the Indian market.

“The Next sensor technology ideally combines user convenience, outstanding performance, security and cost efficiency,” says Alain Faburel, Next Biometrics Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. “This makes us a preferred partner for payment service providers worldwide.”

“Next`s certified sensor technology ideally supports our aim to deliver innovative and reliable payment solutions at lower setup and operational costs as well as lower risk,” adds Sanjay Kamra, Managing Director of Troika. “We are looking to thrive on our partnership with Next to provide a reliable, secure and efficient payment POS platform using biometric authentication in the Indian market and beyond.”

Next Biometrics began expanding its operations in India last year to support the company’s increased activity in the country. Next’s team in India is led by Crossmatch, Safran Morpho and Gemalto veteran Ameya Bhagwat, and also includes Sanjith Sundaram, who spent five years with the Unique Identification Authority of India.

Ritu Favre resigned as Next Biometrics’ CEO from the company effective July 28, 2019. COO Dan Cronin is serving as interim CEO until a new CEO is named.
