Nice recognized for voice biometrics and fraud prevention and adds buguroo behavioral to Actimize

Nice has been recognized as a leader in authentication, voice biometrics, and fraud prevention by Opus Research, and also added behavioral biometrics and malware detection from anti-fraud and online security specialist buguroo to Nice Actimize’s X-Sight Marketplace, according to a pair of announcements.

The “2019 Intelligent Authentication and Voice Biometrics Intelliview” report says Nice Real-Time Authentication (RTA) stands out among 13 vendors for the breadth of its offering and its strong market positioning. The offerings position in the market is supported by robust capabilities, successful implementation, numerous partnerships, and adoption by many corporate customers, Nice says. Opus calls Nice RTA a proactive fraud prevention approach with watchlist and machine learning-based real-time fraud detection.

Technology providers like buguroo are reviewed for their effectiveness in complementing financial crime and compliance solutions before joining the X-Sight Marketplace. Nice Actimize is the company’s autonomous financial crime management business, and operates the X-Sight Marketplace to offer functionality from various technology providers through X-Sight’s Platform-as-a-Service.
