BehavioSec adds features to Behavioral Biometrics Platform to improve fraud detection

BehavioSec has added performance features to the BehavioSec Behavioral Biometrics Platform to speed up authentication and usability, the company announced. The platform delivers real time user authentication and compares sessions based on unique behavior patterns which cannot be spoofed, stolen or socially engineered.

The platform streamlines user authentication by reducing the use of traditional methods such as passwords, tokens and CAPTCHAs and it is in line with regulatory demands outlined in the EU’s Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2), GDPR, CCPA and others.

The most recent platform update (version 5.2) integrates new dynamic capabilities such as Automated Clustering Engine that separates malicious bots and malware from legitimate automation and scripts, Improved Coaching and Voice-Phishing Detection which delivers real-time detection of social engineering attempts to bypass authentication, third-party integrations with the ForgeRock Platform which allows users to add behavioral biometrics to their authentication flows to protect against account takeover attacks and other authentication fraud, and with Ping Intelligent Identity Platform that uses behavioral biometrics to help organizations deliver a unified digital identity for a secure and seamless user experience.

“More organizations than ever are embracing digital transformation and quickly reaping its rewards to increase resource efficiencies, find new revenue verticals and cut costs,” said BehavioSec Vice President of Products Jordan Blake. “But along with improved business agility and access comes the need for deep authentication. With BehavioSec’s Behavioral Biometrics Platform, organizations can continue to take advantage of the latest digital transformation innovations while evolving their security to meet them.”

Last month, BehavioSec earned Gold status at this year’s Golden Bridge Awards and was named Multifactor Solution of the Year at the CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards.

BehavioSec’s Behavioral Biometrics Platform will be showcased at NICE Actimize ENGAGE 2019 in New York City on November 19-20. BehavioSec CEO Neil Costigan will join the panel discussion “Orchestrating KYC/CDD Content to Achieve a Holistic View of Customer Risk,” taking place November 19 at 4:30pm ET as part of the Anti-Money Laundering sessions track.
