In partnership with Japanese tech company Fujitsu, Budapest-based biometrics company BioSec Group showcased the biometric PalmSecure product line, dubbed Fujitsu BioSec, at the recent Fujitsu Forum Munich 2019 following an OEM collaboration.

BioSec demonstrated different application use cases and gave participants the opportunity to test the product and palm vein recognition in a simulated environment. During Social Media Night, a giveaway was organized for media personalities and journalists to experience palm vein recognition. To participate, they had to register biometrically and then use palm vein recognition to open a safe.

Event participants had the opportunity to find out more information about the Fujitsu PalmSecure product portfolio which integrates BioSec technology, such as ID LifePass personal authentication solution, the ID GateKeeper physical access control system and the ID Login V2 computer login solutions.

The Public Sector Booth had many palm vein recognition-protected applications that participants could play with such as a simulated prison cell, an electric car charging station or different integrations for air travel such as luggage drop, security check, cashless payment, boarding or car rental.

BioSec recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of its palm vein recognition access control solution StadiumGuard at the Groupama Arena.
