Coppernic launches multi-biometric ID authentication tablets for government use
Coppernic has released two new multi-biometric tablets for identity registration and authentication to expand its product portfolio for government use, the company announced.
The company is launching ID Platform FAP20 and ID Platform FAP30, after last June it released the ID Platform FAP50 during the ID4Africa event. Biometric recognition is performed with a fingerprint scan and facial and iris recognition technology.
The newly launched platforms have a 7-inch touch screen to optimize user experience and provide biometric authentication during KYC checks, elections, government programs, mobile onsite access control, border controls, and other application areas. The company says the ID Platform FAP20 is suitable for identity verification needs in 1:N, while ID Platform FAP30’s accurate biometric sensors makes it suitable for authentication purposes in 1:1.
Coppernic’s product portfolio includes a variety of biometric identification products, including biometric PDA C-One2 e-ID, and ID Platform FAP50, which has a 4-4-2 fingerprint scanner for biometric registration. The technical components of all Coppernic devices ensure top performance tested on Android 9 operating system, a 1.8 GHz OctaCore processor and a 12,000 mAh battery for extensive use, according to the announcement.
Last month, Coppernic released Celsius ID to provide secure access control with body temperature measurement for pandemic spread prevention.
