ForgeRock integrates with Microsoft, Auth0 launches marketplace to secure enterprise digital identity
ForgeRock has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association to integrate its digital identity solution with other independent software vendors’ offerings.
The ForgeRock Identity Platform now integrates with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Azure Compliance. The integrations include an authentication node which checks device security posture with Endpoint Manager, another which checks user threat risk against Azure AD, and a Common Audit handler (CAUD) which pushes data from ForgeRock products to cloud-native Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM) Azure Sentinel. In all, the integration is expected to support regulatory compliance and reduce enterprise cybersecurity risk, according to the announcement.
ForgeRock also provides biometric authentication technology from various biometrics vendors, including TypingDNA’s behavioral biometrics, which were added in August.
“Joining MISA aligns with ForgeRock’s purpose of helping people safely and simply access the connected world,” states Ben Goodman, senior vice president, global business and corporate development, ForgeRock. “By combining the power of Microsoft Security Intelligence with ForgeRock’s identity expertise, our shared customers will be able to deliver more secure, seamless digital experiences.”
Auth0 marketplace extends platform to biometric solutions
Auth0 has launched a marketplace of partner integrations to enable its customers to extend the platform’s core functionality and act as a digital identity solutions hub.
The new Auth0 Marketplace provides solutions for consent management, identity proofing, log streaming, security, single sign on and other services.
The identity proofing solutions available on the Auth0 Marketplace include biometrics from Onfido and Vouched.
“We are excited to be part of the Auth0 Marketplace launch and have our solution serve as an integral component for Auth0 customers’ identity architectures,” says Rick Hofmann, VP of Global Partnerships and Alliances at Onfido. “As companies look to accelerate and scale their digital transformation, being able to remotely tie a user to their real, physical identity at onboarding and at other points along the customer journey, is critical to reducing fraud and building customer trust. We look forward to servicing additional audiences via Auth0 Marketplace.”
