Precise Biometrics and LumenVox recruiting, Alcatraz, IDnow and Touch Biometrix announce appointments

Growth in the biometrics industry is prompting new appointments and recruiting campaigns. Alcatraz, IDnow and Touch Biometrix have announced new team members, while LumenVox and Precise Biometrics are now hiring.

Alcatraz has a new Chief Revenue Officer, appointing security industry leader Tina D’Agostin to accelerate its go-to-market strategy for its biometric facial authentication platform for physical access control, according to a company announcement.

D’Agostin will be responsible for sales, marketing and customer success for the company’s enterprise clients. She was most recently General Manager of Building Technology & Solutions for Northern California for Johnson Controls, and brings extensive experience in enterprise security and building technology.

“It’s exciting to be on the ground floor of such an innovative company like Alcatraz that’s truly disrupting the industry by delivering technology that will create a new category of autonomous access control,” says D’Agostin in the announcement. “I’m drawn to solutions that deliver intelligent buildings, integrated infrastructure, and next-generation access control systems that work seamlessly together to deliver on the promise of smart cities and buildings. Our Alcatraz Rock edge device, powered by AI, is a solution that delivers in these areas and in so much more.”

New IDnow COO

Bettina Pauck has been appointed chief operations officer at IDnow, according to a Linkedin post. Pauck hopes to apply her experience in customer operations to helping the company, having spent her last 12 years as a consultant.

IDnow last week announced the acquisition of Wirecard Communication Services, a subsidiary of the scandalized and bankrupt payment processor Wirecard, to build up its service delivery capacity.

Touch Biometrix adds to team and opens Taiwan office

Touch Biometrix has announced the opening of a new office in Taiwan to expand its presence to Asia ahead of the launch of its first fingerprint sensor product launch next year. The company has also appointed Said Loudagh, who brings experience in sourcing, operations, and business development from Qualcomm and TPO (now Innolux).

“I’m very excited to be joining such a fantastic team as we drive towards entering the market with our first product launch in 2021,” Loudagh comments.

The new Taiwan office is in the Hsinchu Wishun Centre, and will help the company liaise with supply chain partners, according to the announcement.

Precise Biometrics recruiting sales manager

A Linkedin post by Ordo Recruitment says candidates should have five to ten years of experience in sales of digital products or services.

The deadline for applications is September 15.
