Enacomm and Zwipe expand teams to scale biometrics solutions

Several companies in the biometrics industry are hiring to support the growth of their biometric solutions. Enacomm has appointed a new VP and C-level executive, while Zwipe has added a CSO and two VPs, and Iris ID has posted a new sales and marketing position.

Enacomm appoints Chief Product Officer

Enacomm announced the appointment of Kenneth Arakelian as the fintech and voice biometric software provider’s Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer last week.

Enacomm focuses on the development of customer authentication technologies, including biometrics, for banks, credit unions, credit card, and payments companies.

The addition of Arakelian to the team will now strengthen the company’s designing and architecting capabilities further.

The new VP will specifically focus on scaling Enacomm’s voice biometric-powered intelligent interactive voice response (IVR) system.

Arakelian will also be in charge of expanding the company’s Virtual Personal Assistant (VPA) tool. Powered by artificial intelligence and integrating a Fraud Control Module, VPA can be used for conversational voice banking, as well as the development of chatbots and mobile voice bots.

“I’m eager to expand the reach of Enacomm’s advanced, interoperable technologies, multiplying the number of financial institution customers who will benefit from a user-friendly, secure banking experience,” he said, commenting on the news.

The executive has more than 20 years in the fintech industry and recently led the Innovations Group at Nuance Communications. Now, Arakelian will use his expertise to evolve voice biometrics applications in banking further.

“The fact that Enacomm already built a ‘digital gateway’ with open APIs that can talk to any core means the possibilities are endless,” he says. “I’m proud to be part of an organization that’s tech-forward and supports open banking.”

Zwipe expands sales and PR team

Biometric and contactless solutions firm Zwipe has expanded its team by appointing John Goodale as Chief Sales Officer, Andy Saines as VP Key Accounts, and Anders Bigseth, as VP Marketing and Communications.

Before joining Zwipe, Goodale worked at payment processing services firm TSYS, Now, the new CSO will bring his expertise to Zwipe, helping the company’s engagement and conversion efforts with smart card manufacturers.

Saines will also contribute to the Zwipe team with smart card industry experience and deep knowledge of card issuance solutions. He will be mainly responsible for driving relations and business with Zwipe’s strategic accounts.

Finally, Bigseth has extensive experience in public relations and communications. The PR expert recently worked at Huawei, and will now aid Zwipe in strengthening the company’s position within the segment of contactless payments.
